This site was created to document our
progress with 80 acres near Geneva, FL.
In 2001 we began looking for a piece of property, around 10 acres or so. The more we looked the more junk we found at premium prices. We ended up being the proud owners of 80 acres. It has a few problems, but we keep working at them and they are slowly going away. This is a new experience for us. We never dreamed of owning this much land - it's 1/4 mile by 1/2 mile! Every day is a learning experience while we attempt to turn a bunch of pine trees, palmettos and wire grass into our new home. We are both look forward to lots of fun, enjoyment, and hard work. This site is dedicated to Cindy my friend and wife. Without her efforts and encouragement this would not have been possible. Some pages take a while to load, please be patient. Most of the images are thumb nailed so you can click on them for a larger view. With some browsers (IE6) you can click on some of the images and an expand to full size button will appear in the lower right corner of the image to get even a better view.
