Our project with moving the water was a success!!!  We connected two more puddles on the drive which made it dry and useable. 

We have been awaiting the arrival of a tractor for the next round of projects.  We purchased two outdoor chairs and have come out to the land several times to walk around as well as just sit and chat. The more we come out the more we are sure this is the place for us.

The tractor will be arriving today in the afternoon.  It is almost like Christmas.

Cindy killing palmettos.JPG (262402 bytes) While we were waiting for the tractors arrival Cindy wanted to get rid of some frustrations from work.  She headed for the nearest palmetto with machete in hand.

The tractor has arrived.JPG (198748 bytes) The tractor has arrived! It is a Massey Ferguson 40B.
Rotary Cutter.JPG (378091 bytes) Here is the 5' rotary cutter.  It is a light duty unit but it should be able to handle what we have to cut.
Rear wheel weights.JPG (351520 bytes) The rears have plenty of weight.  They are loaded and have wheel weights. It is getting dark so I will have to wait till tomorrow to use it.

Just before we left the neighbor to the north was trespassing again.  They said they were looking for his horses. Cindy said she saw one trespassing on the path from his place with a rider on it. The rider turned the horse around when he saw us and headed home.
