Barry Lardner with Florida Land Improvement Company, Inc. arrived with the roller chopper. While he was getting started I prepped the posts for the south west corner fence.

Tractor and roller chopper.JPG (1286587 bytes) The tractor and roller chopper.
The roller chopper.JPG (1391572 bytes) This thing cuts palmettos very easily.
Roller chopper back view.JPG (1316638 bytes) Barry will be making two passes at right angles to get a large number of palmettos chopped.
Filling the chopper with water.JPG (1410842 bytes) We had a small amount of water left in a low spot to fill the chopper up with.  By leaving some room in the chopper the sloshing action helps in cut things up.
adjusting the pump.JPG (1450617 bytes) The pump speed had to be kept down so as not to suck too much air.
load of posts for the SW corner.JPG (1338032 bytes) The load of 4x4 posts that I will need to prep for fencing tomorrow.
Bike we found.JPG (1446224 bytes) Barry found this bicycle leaned against a bunch of palmettos.  We called the Sheriff and had a deputy respond in a few minutes.  The Seminole county Sheriffs department responds to all of the calls in a very prompt manner.
