The south line looking from the power line toward the
driveway. They cleaned out the county ditch. |
The south line looking west from near the east corner. Our
neighbor has done some clearing of their own and apparently buried it
under the piles of dirt. This is the area that was solid palmettos which
took us three days to hack through by hand. |
The tree Cindy is holding is a Grapefruit tree along the
east line. The fruit is delicious and pretty much out of reach. The tree
stands about 40 foot tall. There are also various orange trees, most of
which are sour. |
A view of the East line. Isn't the canopy beautiful? |
This old oak is straddling the line. We will be putting
our fence around it, as it would be shame to injure it. |
It's big. Gary's finger tip to finger tip is about 6 ft. |
I love you old tree!!! (Guess I'm a tree hugger at heart) |
The old fence from days gone by. |
This area is a little tight for a vehicle to get through
without damaging the roots. We will have to open it up. |
The east line looking south from the pond. Twenty years
ago the neighbor dug a pond, and a small piece is on our land. There is
no other natural source of water in this corner, so the pond is nice. |
Looking at the north-east corner. |
The north line, looking west from the north-east corner.
It's clear all the way to the trail. |
