While working on the tractor, the front lug bolts came loose on the left front. Before we noticed them they had wallowed out the rim and hub. Rather than buying yet another rim and hub, we were given the option of replacing the lug bolts with a modification kit. It consisted of large cap bolts which you thread into the back of the hub, creating a stub that you apply lug nuts to. The only problem that we found was that we did not have the proper size hex wrench to fit the cap bolts.

This is the cap bolt installed in the back side of the hub.
The lug nuts installed and tightened.
Our homemade hex wrench. We took a cheap 1/2" hex wrench and ground it down with a hand-held angle grinder. It's all we had available to work with.
It turned out pretty decent. I guess this is what they call "famerization".
