We continued to put out the last of the smoking stumps. The fire department was nice enough to come in the middle of the night and foam all of the piles. That made our job much easier. We were exhausted, so the help was really appreciated.

We were very happy with the results of the burn. It was very even and did a good job of cleaning up all the fuel on the ground. The plants should start growing rapidly when the rains start.

When there used to be a lot of weeds and dead stuff from bush hogging, there is now open ground.
Our piles did very well. They are almost gone. We can now consolidate the residue into another burn pile. The cattle should really love this area once the rains start and stuff starts growing.
